The Handy Shop, Comrie a family run business which started in Crieff specialising in wholesale and retail sales of fresh fruit & vegetables. The business took over the existing grocers in the village.
They offer weekly Vegetable and Fruit Bags and Boxes with the selection published every week on their Facebook page along side a fully stocked shop offering more than fruit and vegetables.
All produce is sourced daily from local and international markets to ensure freshness and quality.
Generously the Handy Shop and their staff kindly hold the key to the Community Notice Board (at the bus stop) and close our public toilets in the evenings which we as a community thank them for.
Welcome to the Scottish Tea Factory which opened at Comrie Croft in August 2018.

Beverly is also an affiliate of the U.K. Tea Academy and runs professional level accredited tea courses for people in the food and drink industry. We are not open to the public but visits can be made by appointment.

Tomnah’a is a market garden started in 2015 by Cristy, James, Judith and Sam with the aim to grow a variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers and more using organic, regenerative and wildlife friendly growing methods to provide for a local market.
We are located at Comrie Croft and you may have seen our polytunnels from the road. Born out of our desire to lower food and flower miles and offer fantastic seasonal, fresh and vibrant produce to the local community, we are working hard to make this a reality.
We offer free range eggs, vegetables and flowers for sale from the 100 mile store at Comrie Croft, through our popular veggie box scheme and via other retailers such as the Handyshop and Hansen’s Kitchen.
We are also supplying a number of local cafes and delis.

Wild Hearth Bakery based at Cultybraggan Camp are pleased to announce that the bakery is open for business.
Their usual schedule of bread making is Thursday to Saturday.(the bread comes out in the wee hours on those days).
Breaking news is that Hansen’s Deli will be stocking our bread tomorrow. Likewise, Tomnaha veg box customers have had the chance to pre-order for their Friday boxes. The downside is that they won’t have any left
So it’s really Hansen’s or Hansen’s 🙂
I am trying to think of a way to sell direct to the wonderful Comrie community and I’ll keep you posted. Any bright ideas welcome.
All the best,
