Let me introduce myself. My name is Dave Naitby and together with my wife Kay we own and operate Arran Boat Sales based in Perthshire, Scotland. Our business is manufacturing and selling the Arran 16 GRP small displacement hulled boat, selling secondhand boats, and refurbishing clients’ boats. We believe we offer a very personal bespoke boat business, with each boat tailored to your exact requirements.
ALL ABOUT THE ARRAN 16
The Arran 16 has been a familiar sight in harbours and marinas all around the UK for over the past 40 years. Inshore fishermen who haul crab and lobster pots for a living, find the stability of the boat hard to beat. The open deck space and economical daily running costs of the Arran 16 make it the ideal small workboat.
Its strength and stability have also made the Arran a firm favorite with hire boat operators. Thousands of visitors to the Lake District and South Coast have hired them to take to the water.
At 16ft in length it’s a safe but very manageable size of boat and can be easily towed behind most family cars. It has an excellent safety record and with a CE Cat “C” rating for 4 persons there is room for the family.
The boats have spread far and wide with time and can also be found in Ireland, Denmark, Holland, Germany, France and Malta. I have even received pictures of an Arran that somehow made its way to Africa.Dave & Kay NaitbyArran Boat SalesT: 01764 670481M: 07813200035Home/Office 6 School RoadComriePerthshirePH 6 2LZT: 01764 670481M: 07813200035Workshop (By appointment Only)TomperranComriePerthshirePH6 2LS

“With love for you, by Billiedoo.
I’m Alison. In 2010, I was on holiday in Austria and loved the handwritten hearts that hung on the doors of our hotel. I came home and wanted something similar for our home. I could find nothing that was quite right, so I decided to make my own. A round of painting, sanding, writing, varnishing and decorating (all by hand) later, my heart sign was complete and hung up with love.
I then thought of all the occasions in life where it would be lovely to give or receive a heart with a special handwritten message on it – weddings, a ‘big’ birthday or special anniversary, the birth of a baby or perhaps a housewarming. Then there are the times when maybe you just want to say ‘thank you’ or ‘you’re special’.
As all my hearts are handwritten, you can have your heart say exactly what you want. They’re the perfect gift to give when you don’t know what to give! For more examples of what I do, please visit my website or facebook page. Best of all, get in touch by email or phone and find out what Billiedoo can do for you.”
