The Handy Shop, Comrie a family run business which started in in Crieff specialising in wholesale and retail sales of fresh fruit & vegetables. The business took over the existing grocers in the village. They offer weekly Vegetable and Fruit Bags and Boxes with the selection published every week on their Facebook page along side a fully stocked shop offering more than fruit and vegetables.
All produce is sourced daily from local and international markets to ensure freshness and quality.
Generously the Handy Shop and their staff kindly hold the key to the Community Notices Board and close our public toilets in the evenings which we as a community thank them for.
Tomnah’a is a market garden started in 2015 by Cristy, James, Judith and Sam with the aim to grow a variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers and more using organic, regenerative and wildlife friendly growing methods to provide for a local market.
We are located at Comrie Croft and you may have seen our polytunnels from the road. Born out of our desire to lower food and flower miles and offer fantastic seasonal, fresh and vibrant produce to the local community, we are working hard to make this a reality.
We offer free range eggs, vegetables and flowers for sale from the 100 mile store at Comrie Croft, through our popular veggie box scheme and via other retailers such as the Handyshop and Hansen’s Kitchen.
We are also supplying a number of local cafes and delis.
Tomnah’a Flowers offer seasonal flowers and arrangements alongside structures for hire for weddings, funerals and other group occasions.

Rossal, The Ross, Comrie, Perthshire PH6 2JU.
Professional wildlife & landscape artist working mostly in oils.
Since childhood I’ve been an enthusiast of the natural world and my paintings are an expression of this. I aim to create stimulating visual images that originate from my day-to-day experiences and knowledge of the countryside around me. My methods involve close attention to composition, animal behaviour, habitat detail and lighting, aiming to create an accurate and yet artistic rendition of subjects. Above all else I favour compositional ideas where the effects of lighting and the drama of weather conditions play a key role, striving to capture those wildlife encounters made all the more “magical” by the elements.
