Comrie Conversation Fringe event – 6th March
Following the last Comrie Conversation and Iain Macwhirter’s contribution on the ‘Road to Referendum’, local resident and historian Dr Ann Petrie has organised a discussion in the WRI Hall at 19.30 on the 6th March to explore the 1707 Act of Union and its relevance to our decision on the 18th September 2014.It is fantastic that Comrie Conversations is stimulating such discussions and I hope you will be able to attend.The next Comrie Conversation -21st MarchCan you please put 19.30 on Friday 21st March in the White Church in your diary and spread the word with friends and colleaguesWe have a great line up of speakers giving their take on the future of Scotland including:

- Jeremy Peat – former chief economist at RBS, BBC Governor and currently director of the David Hume Institute http://www.davidhumeinstitute.com
