Our Aim
Our aim is to promote the sustainable development of our village for the benefit of local people, groups and businesses.

Our Organisation
Our Trust is owned and managed by local people living within the boundary defined by the area of responsibility of our Community Council. This includes the village of Comrie and the surrounding rural hinterland,
Our membership
To become a full member you need to be registerd on the electoral register within our area of benefit. Anyone else who supports the aims and objectives of the trust can become an Associate Member. Membership is free and the liability of each member is limited to £1.
Membership of the Trust is now over 600. making it one of the best represented Trusts in Scotland a status it acheived only six-months after formation. Your support is welcome and further information can be obtained from Isla Valenti on 01764 670769 or via Email: .
It is the aim of the Trust for everyone who is eligible to become a member of the Trust. Please encourage your neighbours and friends to join.
The on line Document Library includes a membership form for anyone wishing to join.
Our Board
There are up to 12 positions elected by and from the membership with up to 3 co-opted positions to attract particular skills on to our board. each board member has assumed responsibility on a working group or for a particular area of work (e.g finance, communication or governance). Our board covers a wide range of ages, backgrounds, skills, exopertise and local knowledge.
It is current policy that one of the co-opted seats is reserved for a member of the Community Council.

Local fundraising and volunteering.
Our projects
Cultybraggan is taking up considerable effort by members of the Trust just now, however we are also working on a number of other projects including an off road route between Comrie and Crieff, the community cinema, renewable energy for public buildings and a community composting site.
The Trust has approached the Laggan Park Committee to discuss possible improvements to the facilities available at the park.
