dalginross bridge

I received the following message from our PKC Councillor Ann Cowan with news regarding the re-surfacing of Dalginross Bridge from the council.

Dear Councillors

I refer to the above works that we have been trying to progress for some time.

I am pleased to be able to advise you that our Design team have, agreed with Planning the consents required and also the surface finish. We have dug trial holes and spoken with Markon, the contractor who will do the work, and they have space in their programme to start on 24 June 2013 (give or take a day) with the works programmed to take 6 days. The network team have also agreed to an early start on the network (usually a months notice required) so we can facilitate this date.

I’m sure we are all looking forward to this long running saga soon being satisfactorily concluded.

Any queries regarding the works Dean is the engineer involved and will know the day to day issues, but I’m happy to help where I can.

Regards
Stuart
