If you are unsure how to use the new flood sacks (alternative to the old sand bags), there will be demonstrations of their use at the drop in centre tomorrow in the White Church (10am-7pm) as the need arises. Their deployment on Monday was less than satisfactory and we are assured, by the emegency services, that this will be markedly improved in any future event”

More rain is forecast for tomorrow (Thursday) so be prepared.   Here is a link to an annoucement from PKC this afternoon: http://www.pkc.gov.uk/Council+and+government/Council+information+performance+and+statistics/Media+area/Council+releases/Flooding+in+Comrie.htm

Clean up operation in Comrie continues and the Council has positioned household skips in Camp Road, Barrack Road and Tay Avenue, so that residents affected by flooding can dispose of bulky and general household items. Anyone unable to take items to these skips can call the Council’s Customer Service Centre on 01738 476476 for assistance.
