we had a skate meeting tonight and we are looking at an area in the laggan park
we have mark forrester helping us out at the moment and we are now meeting every wednesday at gerry rodans house
if any new skaters want to come the the laggan park at 2pm and saturday the 15th NOV we are meeting the laagan council to show the designs and give them a picture of what we want and and where would like to see it built

tonight we got some more people at the meeting little cal , jamie roxburugh and gareth gill
we covered some new things . we saw a list of materials needed to build a 10,000ft skate park
also we thought about putting different roll-ins across the back wall so that new skaters learn different skills for park skateboarding .
also decided on the questions in a questionare to give to people in comrie and thereabouts

Marc here. the CSG are moving forward quickly with this project, we now have a second meeting with Laggen Park commitee, regarding the offer of land for the Skate Park. If you are interested in the world of skate/BMX or In-line skating then come along and show your support on the 07/12/08 at 2pm.
Or if you want to join the group, even if you are not involved with skating and would like to volunteer your services then please get in touch with one of the group members. Gerry Rodan is the group chairman.

as marc said com this sunday at 2 to the laggan park the laggan commite would like to talk to us then and the more people that come the more the mesage gets across but goerge from the commite who met us last week seemed enthusiastic .

Hi ,
just a small note to mention that the CSG are to meet with Comrie Community Council (11/12/08) to gain support for the Comrie Skatepark Group.
The group is still open for anyone to come along and join in the discussions.
CSG now meet at CDT 5 Duria Street, Comrie from 1700-1830 on Wednesday nights.
The group will be taking a festive break but the meetings will continue in January 2009.
We will keep you posted.
