The following lengthy but not exhaustive list covers many types of activity that the visitor can try during a stay in Comrie. All of the places and activities listed are within a reasonable travelling distance.
| Bushcraft & Survival | This Activity is based at Auchingarrich Wildlfie Park. Leave your modern day stresses and strains behind, and re-awaken the child in you. | Cycling | The local lanes and back roads around Comrie are wonderful for cycling and there are plenty of off-road tracks to suit the more adventurous. Comrie Croft provide a good base for cycling in the area, they provide mountain bike hire, free local route guides, helmet hire, repair kits, refreshments and reasonably priced accommodation. | Comrie Croft(external link) |
| Cycling | Mountain Bike Parties - a great way to do something just a bit different. Up to 8 youths plus a couple of adults. We check all the bikes out and make sure everyone is in the best riding position and then we create an short skills course which we can be made into a competition (see saw - limbo on a bike). | Golfing | Scotland is the acknowledged historic and spiritual home of golf. This is evidenced by the number of courses in the country. There are well over 30 in Perthshire alone and more are opening every year. | Fishing | Fishing and boat hire are available from Loch Earn Fishings. Check out the local fishing shop in the centre of Comrie for details. Several hotels and self catering establishments in the locality offer fishing holiday packages. | |

| Historic sites | Historic sites from iron age cairns to battlefields, from crofts to castles abound in the Crieff, Perthsire and surrounding areas. | Skiing | There are several areas around Comrie known for their skiing. The list contains those within easy travelling distance. | Swimming | If swimming in a wild setting appeals, try Comrie Linn. Go over the Ross Bridge take the left fork and just keep cycling. Stay on the tarmac road. Crieff Hydro provides, amongst a wealth of other facilities, a small pool. Perth Leisure provides a great swimming pool with slides and flumes. | Visitor and Activity Centres | There are many visitor centres around the area providing a range of experiences and information. These cover activities for young and old alike and interests from close up experiences of British and worldwide wildlife to the unique experience of the world's first and only rotating boat lift. | Watersports | Visitors will find that Loch Earn provides a good base for sailing, waterskiing, and windsurfing. There is a sailing club on the shore on the road from St Fillans to Lochearnhead where you are welcome to pop in on a Saturday or Sunday and offer your services as a crew member.
