Hi,
I am a retired maths teacher, living in Comrie, with considerable experience in schools in both Scotland and England. It occurred to me that, with schools unlikely to re-open for the summer term, there might be some of Comrie’s older children perhaps worrying about starting a University course in Maths/Science/Engineering next session who won’t be getting much in the way of help with more advanced topics. Many parents won’t be able to help much, and online support from schools might not be as detailed as actual lessons.
I’d be very happy to try to answer questions any of these on Higher, Advanced Higher or A-level courses might have, by email, WhatsApp or Skype. No charge, of course – it’d give me something to fill the days, and might be of some assistance!
