MESSAGE FROM THE WHITE CHURCH: There is soup in containers ready to take away for anyone who wants to come down and collect or if they contact the centre to arrange delivery on 01764 679001

MSP’s Roseanna Cunningham and Annabelle Ewing have been in Comrie all morning, listening to residents and meeting with Environment Minister Paul Wheelhouse MSP. The Fire Service are still on hand to assist anyone who needs it and food and refreshments are being provided by local people at the White Church. Should anyone need Roseanna’s assistance please contact the office on 01738 639598. Kirsteen from Roseanna’s office will also be on hand during Thursday at the White Church, during the flood drop in centre between 10am and 7pm.

We received this message from Tayside Police this morning: Think I speak for all the Emergency Services yesterday, when I thank the Community of Comrie for all their assistance yesterday. Despite the disasterous floods, the community spirit and willingness to help was quite amazing. A sincere thanks for all your help and keeping us all fed and watered

Apologies for error – Please note that Paul Hendy of The Scottish Flood Forum will be at the  White Church on Thursday 10am -7pm (not Tuesday as stated earlier).

The Police have been doing door to door checks making sure residents are safe.  They will be patrolling the village during the night so hopefully we can all get some sleep ready for tomorrow.

School buses will not serve Dalginross tomorrow morning . Pupils should board their buses in Drummond Street instead.

Paul Hendy from the Scottish Flood Forum will be available on Thursday upstairs at the White Church from 10am-7pm. Paul can help flood victims in so many ways so please go along to see him
