MAY BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND ADVENTURE
THREE SAINTS WAY PILGRIM TRAIL
Crieff – Comrie – St Fillans – Lochearnhead – Killin
Friday 29th April – Monday 2nd May.
There are exciting plans afoot by the Scottish Pilgrim Routes Forum to establish a long distance pilgrim walking route to link St Andrews with Iona. You are welcome to join us as we try out the Strathearn section – the Three Saints Way – in four walks of 7-9 miles a day through beautiful country along reasonably gentle terrain.
SET OFF EACH MORNING 10.30AM WITH A SHORT TALK AND BLESSING
Fri 29 April Crieff (St Columba’s) – Comrie (St Serf’s) (with lunchtime snack at Comrie Croft en route)
Overnight at St Serf’s Church
Packed lunches can be ordered from Hansens in Comrie
Sat 30 April Comrie – St Fillan’s village
Overnight at Dundurn Parish Church
Sun 1 May St Fillan’s to Lochearnhead (St Angus’s) (packed lunches to be ordered from St Fillan’s shop – to be confirmed)
Overnight at Lochearnhead Village Hall – to be confirmed
Mon 2 May Lochearnhead to Killin (St Fillan’s church
(with lunch time snack at Glenogle snack bar en route)
There will be breakfast each morning and a barbecue to end the day for a small cost and we are negotiating camping places at each stop for hardy souls.
Equipment will be transported for you from stop to stop.
Buses run between Crieff and St Fillan’s and we have booked the Comrie Community Bus to transport people back to the start from Lochearnhead and Killin
