Meet the Band
Tenor Drummer Laura Todd
Laura started with Comrie Pipe Band when she was 8 years old. She was taught side drum by Ian Mcgregor who is still the drum sergeant. Her love for Pipebands started after watching them at Highland Games after participating in the Highland Dancing competition. Her love for the drums continued to grow and a few years later learnt the tenor drum.
This is the 11th year she has been playing with the band and has been involved in various events including the France trip which is her most memorable moment, you can’t beat a slosh next to your band pals, as we are all like one big family!
She hopes to continue playing in the band helping Caitlin teach new members, to allow them to progress and become apart of the band, hopefully teaching them not to break as many tenor sticks as she does! [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
