Police Scotland is becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of 42 year-old Martyn Cruickshank, who was last seen at 10pm at Turretbank Drive, Crieff on Monday 15 October.

Martyn is described as being 5ft 9ins tall, with dark hair and of slim build. He is thought to be wearing a distinctive red Helly Hansen ski jacket.

We currently have over a dozen dedicated officers, specialist search units, mountain rescue, SARDA search and rescue dogs, and air support systematically searching the area looking for him. We would also like to thank the numerous members of the public who are assisting us in doing so, and are participating in an organised search.

We would like to ask anyone in the Crieff, Comrie and adjoining rural areas who has a shed, garage or outbuilding to check it in case Martyn has sought refuge within. Also, if anyone in these areas has private CCTV, please check this, or let us know you have it.

If anyone has seen Martyn since Monday, or has information that could assist us in tracing him, please call 101 or speak to any police officer. Our reference is incident 3021 of 16th October.
