Royal Horticultural Society Britain in Bloom Awards - Comrie wins the award for in the Large Village category receiving a Gold Award. Isobel Ives received the Shredded Wheat Community Champion Award
Once again Comrie has achieved the Large Village award, which we last won in October 2001.
The Royal Horticultural website says "The interest and enthusiasm for all that combine to make this such a desirable place to live, is evident in the effort made by residents to have pride in the buildings, gardens and common land within the village"
The Bloom Committee intends to build on the success of previous years by undertaking a number of improvements and increase the involvement with the school eco-group.
Isobel Ives also recevied the Shredded Wheat Community Champion Award
