Nora was born in and spent her whole life living in Comrie. After working with S.A.I. in Perth, Nora took over the family business: Brough and Macpherson, Ironmongers in Comrie high street, which became a natural meeting point for the people of Comrie.
During her spare time Nora liked nothing better than playing golf, bowls, curling or a round of bridge with friends, her performances in the Amateur Dramatics Society plays are a happy memory for many.
Nora was a much respected member of the community, with many friends in the village, she loved Comrie and its people, she will be sadly missed.
Nora’s wishes were for no service, however as Nora was very passionate about animal welfare, well wishers may like to contribute to either Perth Cat Protection League or the S.S.P.C.A. in her name.
