Comrie Golf Club

Comrie Golf Club is a 9-hole course, located just outside the village off the A85 to Crieff. Spectacular views to the east, south and west enhance a delightful golfing experience – the course is kept in tip-top condition by our two full-time greenkeepers. At just over 3000 yards (9 holes) from the Mens’ Medal tees, it is not a long course, but makes up for this in the subtlety of its design; every hole has its own dangers!
In the comfortable clubhouse, Bill McGuigan, former owner of the award-winning Bank Restaurant in Crieff, provides snacks as well as more substantial meals, available to golfers and non-golfers alike.
Visitors are welcome, and although it is advisable to telephone in advance (01764 670055) for a booking, it is usually possible to tee off without much (if any) delay. Buggies, trolleys and clubs are available for hire, and the green fees, ranging from £15.00 for 9 holes during the week to £26.00 for a whole-day ticket at weekends, are very reasonable. There are discounts and other packages for groups booking in advance, and special membership deals are on offer at the moment – see the Club website ( www.comriegolf.co.uk ) for further details.
Golfers holidaying in the Comrie neighbourhood should not miss the opportunity to play a round over this unique course, and non-golfers will enjoy a coffee or a meal in relaxed and scenic surroundings.
