Comrie Public Toilets
We are pleased to announce that after discussions with Perth & Kinross Council we have agreed with them that the plans to close the toilets will not now go ahead. We are now discussing with the Council how we can work in collaboration with them regarding opening/closing, restocking and cleaning. More information will be available as we move forward.
Annual Hay Ride
Following a long standing tradition in the village we organise an Annual Hayride followed by a picnic and games for the children of the village.
The tradition originated over 30 years ago when community councillors decided they would do something to promote a new United Nation's initiative - The Year of the Child. Since then the event has become a popular day out in the Shaky Village calendar.
Local farmers and contractors collect the children from the village to transport them in tractors and trailers to a countryside location for an afternoon of fun and games accompanied by a barbecue.

In addition we are the main contact for any communications regarding our twinning relationship with Carlton Place in Canada and also a point of contact and support to Bumble Bee Square.
