Police Scotland is appealing for information about a theft by housebreaking which happened at Riverside Cottages, Comrie, between 1pm – 1:30pm on Tuesday 23rd April.

A house was broken into, and a quantity of cash along with items of jewellery were stolen. Some of these items are as follows:

Gold and platinum 3-diamond ring
Gold and platinum diamond solitaire ring
Gold Victorian style belcher bangle with small diamond
Sapphire and pearl gold ring
Gold and quartz pendant
Gold amethyst and quartz pendant
Gold engraved bracelet with hanging pendant
Gold brooch with 5 pearls
Gold star brooch pendant with diamonds and pearls
Matching marcasite and jade pendant and ring

Unfortunately we do not have any photographs of these items at this time. Although the total monetary value of these items is substantial, more importantly they are of huge personal importance and sentimental value to the victim, who is an elderly lady in her 80s.

Officers would like to trace a man who was seen in the immediate are at the time in question. He is described as white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 10 and medium build with facial stubble, wearing a grey and blue hooded top and carrying a green plastic bag. He was last seen leaving the area crossing the Ross Bridge in the direction of Dalchonzie.
