Householders who drive a commercial-type vehicle and/or a trailer are reminded that there are new social distancing requirements in place at all PKC Recycling Centres.

Each of these vehicles will need to display their Domestic Exemption Permit as an A4-sized print-out on their vehicle windscreen or on their tablet before entering the Recycling Centre.

There are also new social distancing requirements in place for commercial customers, who must also display their permit as an A4 print-out or on a tablet. At Friarton Weighbridge, only card payments are accepted from commercial customers.

At Recycling Centres out-with Perth, only pre-paid vouchers are accepted from commercial customers and must be deposited in the Site Attendant’s bag while they socially distance.

These pre-paid vouchers can be bought (once you have an approved permit) by phoning 01738 476476, Monday to Friday between 8.45 am and 5.00 pm. It takes up to 7 days (subject to postal delays) for pre-paid vouchers to arrive through the post.

To request a paper-copy of your permit, or an electronic copy to be emailed to you, please email RCPermits@pkc.gov.uk. It takes up to 14 days (subject to postal delays) for the paper copy Permit to arrive through the post.
