I received this from Citizens Advice Scotland today:
RESEARCH INTO THE EFFECT OF FLOODING ON HOME INSURANCE – PLEASE HELP
Citizens Advice Scotland is conducting research into the effects of flooding on property insurance within communities. A Survey Monkey has been launched and we would be very glad if you could circulate this to your community members and ask them to pass it on (Text below and link to survey).
The survey will also be sent out by the Scottish Flood Forum in their next newsletter and will appear in SEPA’s next Flooding Gateway newsletter.
Have you been affected by flooding?
Citizens Advice Scotland and the Scottish Flooding Forum are inviting anyone who has been affected by flooding to participate in a short survey. We are keen to find out if flooding issues have affected the cost of your property insurance, and how.
Please do take a few minutes to complete this survey as the results will help us to evidence the type of problems people are facing, and to push for more to be done to support them.
The higher the response rate, the more evidence we have to formulate much needed policy to represent those in this situation with decision makers.
