This sad news from Comrie in Colour…..
Unfortunately our plant order from PKC was cancelled this year for obvious reasons and there will be no hanging baskets to decorate the village. We can’t work as a group yet so most of our work is limited and watering on any scale is difficult.
However we are planting a few of the main containers with plants we brought on over the winter and can hand water when needed so hopefully that will brighten some areas. We will try and keep the weeds at bay over the summer but it’s going to be a very busy autumn/winter catching up when/if we are able to work as a group again. We had plans to renovate and replant some borders so hopefully we will continue with that eventually.
Many thanks to a few villagers who have been quietly weeding and tidying some areas . We appreciate any help we can get especially with keeping containers watered if we have another dry spell.
