DESCRIPTION:Yvonne Lyon\, one of Scotland’s best singer songwriters to perform in Comrie on Friday 31st March  \n\n Her most recent album Growing Wild is her tenth solo studio release\, and has been received with rave reviews.\n\nAs well as performing widely in her own right\, she has supported Eddi Reader throughout the UK\, performed with Beth Nielsen Chapman and has co-written with Boo Hewerdine. She has shared the stage with Patti Griffin\, Karine Polwart\, Karen Matheson\, Luka Bloom\, Steve Forbert\, IONA and Juliet Turner. Her memorable and emotive performances can’t help but draw and stir audiences. Her voice can be both fragile and intense and her songs consistently combine poignant lyrics with strong\, creative melodies. You can’t help but ‘feel’ at an Yvonne gig. \nShe has guested on live sessions with Whispering Bob Harris on his BBC Radio 2 show and she has recently found the time in her busy schedule to complete a Masters Degree in Songwriting and Performance from the University of the West of Scotland. \nTickets can be bought online here and from Hansen’s Kitchen. \nPlease note that this gig is on Friday 31st March
