DESCRIPTION:Chris’s Gigs is delighted to present the Auld Alliance/Big Six\, all the way from the South of France. This will be a evening of celebration\, so come along and have lots of fun! Tickets are on sale at the bargain price of £10\, and all proceeds will go to the British Heart Foundation as it is a cause close to the hearts of the band. \nThe Auld Alliance/Big Six are a very lively dance band with a broad range of eclectic songs that will fill the dance floor and get everyone singing along. It will be a party night so bring your pals and your dancing shoes! The band are based in the South of France and perform together in various different groupings as well as all together in Auld Alliance/Big 6. With a mix of French\, English\, Scottish and Dutch musicians involved\, there are 2 guitars\, a cello\, a harmonica and 5 singers with a repertoire ranging from The Beatles to Oasis with a good sprinkling of country music thrown in. \nIn addition and as a special treat\, some well known Comrie musicians may well take to the stage to add some local flavour and fun to the proceedings. DESCRIPTION:Comrie Community Council will be hosting a street party to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.\nBring your own picnic\, Well Fired Pizza’s\, Robb’s Hog Roast\, Burger Van \, Bonny Mountain and Nutritious and Delicious will also be there for you to purchase food and drink.\n\n\nWe have entertainment all afternoon\, brownies/cubs /scouts putting on a show\, the Pipe Band\, singers and a musician.\n\n\nTables and chairs kindly provided by the Comrie Fortnight.\nPlease not that Dalginross will be closed  to through traffic between the war memorial and mid square from 09:00 until 18:00 on the day.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday the 28th May  for a day of historic re-enactment to commemorate 75 years since Cultybraggan Camp became an MoD training camp. Warriors from medieval times to the present will be demonstrating their fighting skills and you can even have a go yourselves! Explore the encampments and experience period crafts in action; visit the Second World War German PoWs in their barracks and meet their comrades still fighting the Allies; take in the displays of military vehicles from motorcycles to armoured trucks.
