[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1585906029271{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]We recently emailed official decisions to all parents/carers who applied for an ELC place for their child in our nursery classes/early childhood centres from this August. Please check your spam or junk folders for this if it’s not in your inbox.
If you have received your email but not replied yet, please respond by 5pm tomorrow (Friday 3 April 2020) by clicking on the link in the message. If you have any issues using the link, reply to the email including the following information:

1. Your child’s name and nursery setting or the case reference
2. Whether you are accepting the full placement, a partial placement (and which days you’ll take if this is the case), or if you no longer want the placement for your child.
3. Home language – if this is not English.
4. If your child has any additional support needs and if so, some brief details of these needs.

We will then count this as your acceptance.

You may also be aware that earlier this week the Scottish Government announced that, given the current coronavirus pandemic, councils no longer have a statutory duty to provide the extended 1140 Hours Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) provision from August 2020.

We have already made good progress in rolling 1140 Hours out across Perth and Kinross, and while we are currently reviewing our planning as a result of this announcement, we are confident that many families will still be able to access their entitlement as planned.
