It is with regret that we have to announce that our Chair, Karen Donaldson and Committee Member Rosie Mitchell have decided to step down from the Community Council.
We thank both for their service over the past couple of years.
Unfortunately, this means that we are now under strength, as the Community Council needs 5 elected members to continue operating. As such, a by-election will be held before the end of the year for the remaining six seats on the council.
Andrew Scoble has volunteered to take the role as acting Chair until the by-election takes place, thereby ensuring continuity of the Community Council in the interim.
The by-election will be run by PKC, and further information will be provided once PKC have announced a timetable for the election.
