Due to current circumstances the AGM to be held on the 1st of September has been postponed.
The Committee wish to wait until the 14th of September when the Government will release ‘hopefully’ new guidelines regarding indoor meetings.
Once they are in a better position to hold an indoor AGM the Committee will of course decide on a date and gIve the mandatory 21days notice.
On a positive note…
The Committee and their wonderful volunteers are continuously working behind the scenes to empty the shop allowing the shop to be assessed for any works needing carried out.
It is unsure whether it is structural or cosmetic , let’s hope it is the latter so the shop can open sooner rather than later.
When the time comes the Committee will keep us informed as to what and when things will happen.
Sadly some of the great volunteers will be stepping down once they have seen this project through.
The Cancer Shop are going to be looking for new volunteers willing to do a shift in the shop, thus allowing the great work that has been carried out in the past to continue.
