Medical Centre Mobile Unit

We are very grateful to John Greenfield from Hart and First Responder Alan Moffat for lending us the mobile Medical Support Unit van which is now static in the front car park ready for use.

In order to reduce footfall in the surgery and risk of exposure to infection, patients may receive attention in this unit when attending for straightforward issues such as simple blood tests, injections and brief consultations.

The GP, nurse or reception staff will speak with you to arrange your appointment. You will ideally arrive by car, remain in your vehicle until called for and will be met in the unit by your clinician who will be wearing full Personal Protective Equipment. Please peep your car horn when you arrive at the car park.

Obviously not all consultations can be efficiently dealt with in this way and you may need to be seen in the surgery setting as normal. However, many patients have expressed an interest in having their medical issues dealt with in this way during these challenging times.

Please note that there is no Medication or Medical Equipment left in this van overnight.
