Ms Roseanna Cunningham MSP, Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Perthshire South & Kinross-shire constituency, has introduced changes to the operation of her constituency office and system of surgery meetings as a result of the ongoing coronavirus situation.

Speaking this morning (Wednesday) Ms Cunningham said:

“First, and foremost, I want to stress that we remain absolutely committed to being as accessible to the public as possible in the circumstances, so please do not hesitate to get in touch by telephone or email.

“We must all take sensible precautions to help reduce the possibilities of spreading the virus. The reality is that many of the cases we deal with on a daily basis involve older or vulnerable constituents. I have, therefore, taken the decision to suspend face-to-face surgery appointments for the time being and to close the office to enable staff to work from home.

“These arrangements will be kept under constant review and I will make sure that constituents are informed of any changes.”
