Denholm Partnership Architects are sponsoring the Nice2roam4doddie team in the DoddieAid: All Roads Lead to Rome bike ride for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation! Can’t wait to see the sea of Doddie tartan in the Stadio Olimpico on 9th March (and hopefully another van der Merwe hat-trick)!

Team Nice2Roam4Doddie are a group of 12 riders cycling 473 miles from Nice, France to the Piazza Navona in Rome from 2nd to the 8th March.

They are one of 22 teams starting from all over UK and Europe converging on Rome for the Scotland vs Italy 6 Nations rugby match.

Each cyclist in team Nice2Roam4Doddie will pay their own expenses for this challenge this includes all logistics, accommodation, and meals to support the challenge.

All equipment which includes bikes and luggage will be collected on Feb 28th. The support vehicle will be driven by myself from Edinburgh to Nice. All cyclists will meet with the support vehicle and will commence the challenge on March 2nd arriving in Rome March 8th. The support vehicle will then follow the cyclist to their destination providing support in the form of repairs, luggage transfers, moral and physical support throughout the trip.

On the 9th March, the day after we arrive in Rome, all Teams and riders can honour the memory of Doddie by marching from Piazza del Popolo to Stadio Olimpico to watch the match between Italy and Scotland.

Organised in conjunction with and raising money for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Please support to help achieve the Foundation’s Vision of

“A World Free of MND”.
