From PKC:
We intend to carry out road patching works on the A822 between Muthill and Bishops Bridge, starting on Monday 4 September 2023 and expected to take around five days to complete, weather permitting.
A road closure will be in place from 9am to 3.30pm each weekday to undertake the works safely and efficiently, to keep the disruption to a minimum. Outside these times temporary traffic lights may be used to ensure site safety and the storage of plant and materials. During the road closure hours the official diversion route will be via the A85, A9, A823 and A822, and vice-versa. Please see the location and diversion route map below for more information.
Vehicle access to properties within the works area will be permitted by the contractor when it is safe to do so. However, we cannot guarantee immediate entry or exit from properties when the road is being excavated or the new surface is being laid. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained throughout. On waste collection days, residents and businesses should present their bins as normal.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience while the works are taking place, and would like to thank residents and motorists for their co-operation during this time.
