Detectives at Perth are appealing for information after three break-ins in the Comrie area between Monday, 20 November and Saturday, 25 November.
The first break-in took place at a house on South Crieff Road between 9am on Monday, 20 November and 4pm on Tuesday, 21 November. A quantity of jewellery was stolen from the property.
The second housebreaking took place around 3.30am on Tuesday, 21 November in Braco Road. The male suspect who was using a vehicle has entered the property and stolen a three-figure sum of cash and some jewellery from within.
Officers are linking these two incidents and believe the same person is responsible.
The third report was at a shop in Dunira Street between 8pm on Sunday, 19 November and Wednesday, 22 November. The shop was broken into but nothing was stolen.
Detective Constable Bob Roger said: “The people who commit this type of crime have no thought for the impact they have on those involved.
“As our enquiries progress I would appeal to anyone in the Comrie area who may have witnessed someone acting suspiciously, an unusual vehicle or anything that may help our investigation. If anyone has any dashcam or personal footage that may hold something relevant, please contact us.
