Gnoss at the White Church
Next up in the village is Gnoss who will be in the White Church on 24th June.
Gnoss, whilst still in their mid-twenties, have already had two back-to-back sell-out appearances at Glasgow’s world-famous Celtic Connections festival. Their last two albums have become essential listens and they’ve built a loyal following with their high-spirited, forward-thinking take on traditional music, coupled with the unique warmth of their live shows. Formed by the award-winning Orkney duo of fiddler/mandolinist Graham Rorie and singer-guitarist Aidan Moodie – with (Crieff lad) Connor Sinclair (flute/whistles) and Craig Baxter (bodhran) – the Glasgow-based quartet combine livewire instrumental sets with richly stirring arrangements.
Triple Scots Trad Music Awards nominees, the band have a dedicated following and people will travel a long way to see them so don’t miss out. Get your tickets soon!
