As many are already aware, the village lost a much-loved stalwart last Saturday 20 March. Jessie Robertson passed away suddenly but peacefully at Ninewells Hospital at the age of 88. Many will know Jessie from her years of dedication to the Cancer Shop. A great character who will be sadly missed.

“Suddenly but peacefully at Ninewells Hospital on Saturday 20th March 2021, Jessie Urquhart Robertson (nee Reynolds), aged 88 years. Beloved wife of the late David, much loved Mum of Margaret, David, and Robert, mother-in-law of Ann and Pauline. Dearly loved Gran of Colin, Millie, Helen and Emma and a loving Great-Gran to Alfie and Ailsa. Jessie will be leaving the home of her birth in Comrie on Tuesday 30th March at 2pm for those wishing to pay their last respects.”
