Comrie woman Terri Bacon was on the front page of last week’s Strathearn Herald calling for upgrades to the village’s Legion Park playground, which she says is now not fit for purpose.
The mum of two said: “There are raised kerbs; it’s all uneven; there’s soft areas around the equipment but these are all rising up, and then there’s concrete, which is breaking up between the pieces of equipment, so if they are running from one piece to the next and trip, they are falling onto concrete, and it is so easy for them to trip.”
