VisionPK provides a range of specialist services for those who are visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing.

A couple of years ago Vision PK carried out a consultation with our visually impaired clients, volunteers and staff.  People responding expressed a need for local activities, social support, opportunities to meet others, share experiences and build supportive relationships.

Vision PK received funding from the National Lottery Community fund to support the development of local groups throughout Perth and Kinross, for people with a visual impairment

There is a group being started  in Comrie.  The first group will take place in the Lounge at Cameron Court on 9th August, 10 am until 12 noon.

Lidia Dye, community development worker for VisionPK will facilitate the first meeting where those participating will discuss what they would like the group for.  The group can run every fortnight or once a month, it can have set activities or meet for a tea or coffee and a chat.

If you would like more information then please phone Lidia for a chat or email her:  telephone – 07900 707542, email – lidia.dye@visionpk.org.uk
