Coffee, Teas, Hot Chocolate – Cake & Scones – served 11am to 6pm – Everyday
Lunch Menu – served 12 noon to 2pm – Everyday
Royal Winter Garden – your alfresco Highland Bar! – Open 11am to 8pm Food Service 12 noon to 2pm / 6pm to 8pm Everyday. (Friday & Sat night closes @ 10pm)
We can’t thank you enough for all your support and encouragement! We took heed of your “Haste ye Back” messages and are delighted to be re-opening the doors on Monday 26th October at 11am. So please spread the word!
The log fires are being set ready for lighting, cakes are being baked, and marshmallows are ready to top the Hot Chocolates!! Come and ‘coorie in’ and cosy up and enjoy the warmth of the log fires. Remember in hospitality settings two households are still allowed to meet up in maximum groups of six. A delicious lunch menu is planned, including warming Soups and tasty Club Sandwiches along with our Royal favourites which will be served from 12 noon to 2pm every day.
We are afraid no alcohol is allowed to be served indoors at the moment, and we can only offer food to Hotel residents indoors after 6pm. We will wait and see what the new tier framework brings on 2nd November…
But in the meantime, we are delighted to announce that plans are afoot for The Royal’s Highland Winter Garden – for those brave enough to sit outside for a pint!! The fire pit will be lit for marshmallow toasting, and warming glasses of spicy Mulled Wine will be the order of the day. Al fresco dining options will include our Royal Burger in a box, as well as Chili cheese fries topped with jalapeno peppers, along with warming mugs of Parsnip, Celeriac & Apple Soup. Unfortunately, no apple bobbing for this year’s Halloween – instead we have some deliciously sweet crunchy Toffee Apples and buttery popcorn for the children. Make sure you bring along your thermals & winter woollies – we have infa-red and patio heaters, but sadly limited availability on covered tables!
