Tactran, the regional transport partnership covering the Angus, Dundee, Perth & Kinross and Stirling Council areas, has started work on a new Regional Transport Strategy (RTS) and would welcome your views on the key transport issues in your area. The RTS provides a complementary role to the Council’s Perth Transport Futures plan, helping identify and bring forward regionally significant transport developments….for example those transport issues that apply across local authority boundaries.
We work closely with Perth and Kinross Council, and are aware of the various consultations that get directed your way. If you are unable to make comment, we will be drawing on what you have told the Council’s Communities team about transport issues through exercises such as the locality planning process. And if you are able to contribute a response, we will share this information (just location and issue, no names) with the Council so issues can be considered in appropriate processes.
